Who We Are & What We Do

Copy of Membership

The Berkshire Family History Association, organized in 1975, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study of genealogy and family history research.

BFHA supports the collections and services of the Local History & Genealogy Department of the Berkshire Athenaeum with funds raised through membership dues and sales. Our members may request research, done by our volunteers, within these collections.

BFHA volunteers are typically available Thursday mornings; Athenaeum staff members are available other times. For holiday closures or weather delays, visit pittsfieldlibrary.org
